Heyyy Ladies!
How are you all holding up this summer? I have had quite the blitz of events, but have managed to keep my head above water!
As most of you know, I have had my health struggles over the years, and I need to be able to step back and assess how I am doing overall from time to time. It is so important for us as women to take time for ourselves, and be intentional about slowing down and focusing on what is important to us. Family, health, friendships, etc.
From Car Shows to Lady Yota’s & Coffee, we've had you covered this season, which brings me to the reason for this blog. We NEED your support!
When Kymberlee and I started Lady Yota's, we knew right away that we wanted this group to be a safe space of sorts for women. It would be a space where women could feel comfortable asking questions about their Toyota’s, find out about the latest mods, connect with other women for support, etc. What we never intended was for the focus to be on anyone but YOU.
This is YOUR group, and we want to challenge you ladies to make it your own. Unfortunately, I cannot be at every single event (as much as I would love to), and that was never my intent. We want to encourage you ladies to put yourselves out there, and create fun, inclusive events in your communities.
That is exactly how Lady Yota's began, just me and Kymberlee sitting around a table having coffee and, look at where we are now! Nearly 8k strong! 💪🏾
We have a lot of fun things coming up this season including a two-day driving and off-road class, a seven day cruise to Alaska, PIR Holiday Parade, and we are also in the middle of planning a trip to Italy for summer of 2025 (Ciao!) 🇮🇹
We are doing big things and we are so excited you are a part of this fantastic group. The fun doesn't have to stop there, get out there and plan some events in your community. It doesn't have to be a cruise 🛳️, leave that to us! We want to see more of you ladies creating events in your cities, and doing what you can to be present for the women in your community. 🩷🖤
We are currently working on winding down our Lady Yota's and Coffee for the season, and the last one for this year will be on October 12th. We do not run our Lady Yota's and Coffee in Nov/December due to the sheer madness of trying to schedule things during the holidays, and this allows us to focus on the other events we have in the works.
Looking forward to seeing more of the things that YOU want to do on the event page, even if its a meetup for a movie, dinner, or a scenic run along a river road.
Let's goooo! 🤙🏾
